Renewing your scholarship
Some scholarships with HSC are awarded on a renewable basis. If you are unsure if your scholarship can be renewed, please email info@hispanicscholar.org.
Renewal scholarships are awarded each semester (award amount divided by 2). Students must remain eligible to receive their fall & spring scholarship payout.
In order to be eligible to receive your scholarship, you must:

Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA

*Students not meeting this requirement will be placed on probation

Be enrolled on a full-time basis

Complete service hours (5 hours each semester)

Attend HSC's conference (held each winter and summer)
In order to receive your scholarship check, each semester you must complete a scholarship renewal application, which includes:

A transcript reflecting last semester's grades

Your upcoming course schedule

Financial Aid Award Letter

Documentation of service hours
Reminders are sent at the beginning of every semester via email to all HSC scholars that are eligible to renew.
